Should I get this service pack?
Not unless you were the customer who requested this change. This service pack is optional and only contains one enhancement that was a special user request.

How do I install the service pack?
You simply download the service pack (single file) and double click on it. This will start an installation process that will update one file in the TReK bin directory. That's all you need to do. You don't have to uninstall the TReK software to install this service pack. You can install it over TReK Release 1.1 or any of the TReK Release 1.1 service packs (Service Pack 1, Service Pack 2, or Service Pack 3). Please note that if you install this service pack you will automatically get the updates that were included in TReK Release 1.1 Service Pack 1, TReK Release 1.1 Service Pack 2, and TReK Release 1.1 Service Pack 3.

What's In It?

New or Enhanced Capabilities

• TReK recording files are created in a "share exclusive" mode, denying other processes both read and write access to the files while they are open. This mode has been changed to "share deny write" instead of "share exclusive". This change allows other processes read access to the opened TReK recording files.
