TReK Release 2 Service Pack 1
TReK
Release 2 Service Pack 1 is a service pack for TReK Release 2. Here's some information
about this service pack.
When will it be available?
Released on February 5, 2003.
How do I install the service pack?
You simply download the service pack (single file) and double click on it. This
will start an installation process that will update several files in the TReK
bin directory. That's all you need to do. You don't have to uninstall the TReK
software to install this service pack.
What's In It?
Fixes
- Removed a DLL that was causing performance problems in Telemetry
Trainer and Telemetry Processing (data playback). Also other minor performance
enhancements.
- Added user selection of Suitcase Simulator software load when
adding Suitcase Simulator destinations in Command Processing. This selection
allows TReK to use the workaround checksum calculation for those who do not
have the fixed version of Suitcase Simulator software (Suitcase Simulator
Software Load SR1). For those users with the corrected Suitcase Simulator
software (SR1), TReK will calculate the checksum correctly.
- Implemented changes related to HOSC ECR HM-2913. User can now
select the number of retries for a command uplink request via the user interface
or the new command API function SetNumberOfRetries. Also changed the clear
to send mechanism. Command Processing can be configured to run with either
set of EHS code.
- Packet record files were closing based on time when the feature
was not selected.
- The Telemetry Database application was updated to correctly
handle an error associated with updating a GSE packet definition (adding a
GSE packet definition into a database that already contained a packet definition
for that APID). The fix was associated with properly removing the previous
version of the packet.
New or Enhanced Capabilities
- Telemetry Processing application -- When configuring a continuous
playback, you can now identify how many times the playback should play or
specify the playback loop indefinitely.
