have to uninstall the TReK software to install this service pack.
What's In It?
Fixes
• Renaming an ERIS session could cause problems, so the ERIS name is no longer modifiable. If you need to change an ERIS name, you must delete the ERIS session and add it back with a new name.
• A more descriptive error message is now displayed when trying to play back an empty record file.
• When a TCP connection disconnected from Telemetry Processing, the server sockets associated with the connection were not closed properly. This caused a problem when a client attempted to reconnect from the same port. As part of this fix, the message area in Telemetry Processing now identifies the local IP address and port of TCP sockets that have accepted connection or close requests.
• If only a high range or low range value was set for a command or header field, TReK ignored it. TReK will now allow only one range to be set.
• TReK was incorrectly closing parameter record files if the user stopped and restarted parameter recording. TReK now closes the files correctly.
• Telemetry Processing and Command Processing posted deactivation messages in the main window message area under conditions in which they should not have been posted.
• The sensitivity of the "Maximum Time File Is Open" field in the Advanced Recording dialog in Telemetry Processing and Command Processing was not being set correctly.
• The Telemetry Processing application did not save parameter recording sessions in the configuration file if the application was exited using the ‘X’ on the main window and the user selected ‘Yes’ in the Save Changes dialog.
• Telemetry Processing and Command Processing did not prompt to save changes when inactive packets/destinations were modified or if color preferences were changed.
• An intermittent problem occurred when activating destinations in the Command Processing application. Sometimes the commands appeared twice for the destination in the Commands dialog.
• Missing Statistics information in Telemetry Processing and Command Processing: The Telemetry Processing Statistics (Packet tab) dialog does not show Custom Data Packets or ERIS Sessions. The Command Processing Statistics (Destination tab) dialog does not show Suitcase Simulator or ERIS Sessions.
New or Enhanced Capabilities
• TReK now supports a command interface with PRCU. The Command Processing User Guide contains information on how to work with a PRCU destination.
• A delete button has been added to the invalid configuration dialogs for Telemetry Processing and Command Processing to allow you to delete packets or destinations from the configuration file instead of modifying them.
• Updated the “Message Viewing” and “Message Recording” labels in Command Processing to be “Command Message Viewing” and “Command Message Recording” for clarity.
• It is now possible for the user to specify the default directory for the following:
- Telemetry Processing configuration files
- Command Processing configuration files
- Telemetry database files
- Command database files
