Register

To download TReK, users must register.

Fill out the TReK Registration Form: TReK Registration Form

Signed for/by the individual who will download the software.

Choose one the TReK Software Usage Agreements (SUA) that best applies:
  1. NASA Civil Servant.
  2. Non-NASA US personnel working under CONTRACT / GRANT / AGREEMENT.
  3. Non-NASA Non-US personnel working under CONTRACT / GRANT/ AGREEMENT.
  4. Non-NASA Non-US personnel with specific ESA clause working under a CONTRACT / GRANT / AGREEMENT.
  5. NASA JPL.
  • Digitally sign or print and sign.
  • Fill out requesting CONTRACT / GRANT / AGREEMENT or RECIPIENT information.
  • Signed by the individual that will download the software. Be sure it is signed.

Note:

  • If your task is performed by your company under a contract, grant, or agreement with NASA, the SUA is an agreement between NASA and the company. A representative with authority to sign on behalf of your company should sign accepting the terms of the SUA.
  • If your task is performed by you as an individual under a contract, grant, or agreement with NASA, then you may sign accepting the terms of the SUA under your contract, grant or agreement.

E-mail both the TReK Registration Form and the signed Software Usage Agreement Form to trek.help@nasa.gov.

Once registration is approved, you will receive an e-mail to submit a NASA Access Management System (NAMS) request for “MSFC TREK ISS”. This generates your computer account used to download TReK software.

To request MSFC TREK ISS through NAMS follow these steps:

  1. Login to NAMS system using the following: https://nams.nasa.gov/nams/user.
  2. In the New Request Field type “MSFC TREK ISS”. You should see the “MSFC TREK ISS” application as shown below.
  3. Click on MSFC TREK ISS. Fill in the requested fields and submit the request.

You may see two TReK related items in the list, you want "MSFC TREK ISS" (not MSFC TReK Development Systems).

Do not submit the NAMS request for the MSFC TREK application until you have received notification that your TReK Registration has been approved.  NAMS holds a request for a limited time (days). Your request cannot be approved until your TReK Registration has been approved. If you submit the NAMS request before your TReK Registration has been approved, it’s possible your NAMS request will drop out of the system before it can be approved.

Once your NAMS has been approved, you will receive an e-mail from Huntsville Operations Support Center (HOSC) Customer Service titled "Your Portal Account for TReK is Ready". This e-mail provides the information you need to get your username and password to download the TReK software.
